Tips for accuracy

Use a soft, flexible measuring tape.
Measure over thin clothing or undergarments.
Keep the tape parallel to the floor for horizontal measurements and snug but not tight.
Take each measurement twice to confirm consistency.

Bust: Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, including your shoulder blades, then drop your arms to your sides to measure.

Waist: Place the measuring tape near the belly button around your waist. Relax and do not pull in your stomach.

Hips: Stand with your feet together and place the measuring tape around the widest part of your hips.

Sleeve: With your elbow bent at a 45° angle, place the measuring tape at the back of your neck. Measure across your shoulder, to your elbow, and down to your wrist.

To maintain the structured silhouette, deep black finish, and the integrity of the tailored piping, we recommend the following care routine:

Washing

Machine Wash Cold: Use a delicate cycle with like colors to preserve the 2-way spandex stretch and the matte onyx finish.
Turn Inside Out: Always wash the abaya inside out to protect the triple-button cuffs and the external piping from friction in the drum.
Use a Laundry Bag: For maximum longevity, place the abaya in a mesh laundry bag to prevent the delicate fabric-covered buttons from snagging.

Detergent & Softeners

Mild Detergent Only: Avoid bleach or harsh chemicals that can break down the spandex fibers and cause the black dye to fade.
Skip the Softener: Fabric softeners can leave a coating on Jonkoso’s technical weave, which may reduce its natural "bounce-back" and breathability.

Drying

Line Dry Recommended: Hang the abaya on a padded hanger immediately after washing to let the weighted Jonkoso fabric naturally smooth out any minor wrinkles.
Avoid the Dryer: High heat can damage the spandex content (causing "rippling" over time) and may cause the contrast piping to shrink at a different rate than the main body.

4. Ironing & Steaming

Steam is Best: Jonkoso is naturally wrinkle-resistant, but if a refresh is needed, a garment steamer is the preferred tool for a crisp, high-end look.
Cool Iron if Necessary: If using an iron, use the lowest synthetic setting and a pressing cloth to avoid "shining" the matte fabric.
